The best flux we have ever found. In 35 years of gas welding aluminum I have used quite a few different
formulas, and my research has shown that at one time there were almost 50 different formulas in the United
States. After several years of tinkering and experimentation I truly believe this formula gives the best
weld density, the most defined "ripple" on the weld bead, and gives the smoothest surface on 5052 and 6061
that I have ever seen or have personally experienced. This new flux is also very suitable for use as a
back-up flux for TIG welding. As always, you should use clean spring water and clean fuel gas when welding
with this or any water-soluble flux.
Important Note: Use only good pure Spring water, such as obtained from local market. Evian, Geyser,
Saratoga, A+, Nickolets, etc. Distilled water is not as good.
