AA vintage Porsche RSK nose is axed clear through, straightened, gas welded (butt-weld), planished and metal finished to perfection, on camera, with no edits, a few simple hand tools, - and no fillers. Very good demonstration of fitting up for butt-welding.

Although not specifically for Aircraft, the information has direct application for aviation" Ben Owen-EAA rated 4star/aircraft

Damaged Panel We begin with a damaged panel.
After bumping with the dolly , we use the slapper and the dolly to smooth the damage.
Dolly
Hammers
We have a discussion of the many types of body hammers and their applications. .
After gas welding and careful planishing we can check the surface with a body file.
Spoon
After a kiss with the file and a touch with the spoon and the dolly, it's ready for paint. When I do work like this, the painters tell me they need very little primer.
